Best Western Plus Beach Resort

We've been Best Western customers for many years. All the hotels in this brand are good, but the Best Western Resort in Fort Myers Beach is number one. It has a wonderful view, the sunset is the most beautiful in Florida. The staff are polite, always with a smile on their faces. Every time we arrive to stay, we are greeted by Mike, who is attentive and very kind, which makes us like this hotel more and more! We love it

If you are like I was and had a preconceived notion about Best Western...you need to rethink it. After staying at this location I have a new found love for Best Western. It is right on the beach, not a lot of view interruptions, free parking, free hot breakfast, and a parrot named Coco that will talk to you in the lobby and during breakfast. He's ADORABLE! Everything has been remodeled as of March 2025 and the rooms are just right. They have a little kitchen area that includes a larger frig almost regular size, a cook top, cabinets, utensils and plates, cookware etc., a microwave and great views right on the ocean.

1st every room faces the the Gulf. We stayed for 30 days. The front desk staff Joy, Alyssa, Jessica, Scott, Mike and manager Tim are perfect. Tim has assembled a great team of ground keepers, housekeepers etc. Place is immaculate. Dont miss out. Thanks Janene and Mark

A wonderful experience all around. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast crew is wonderful. They are constantly monitoring the buffet to ensure there's plenty for everyone. The cleaning staff is incredible. They swept and mopped our floor daily. The room was always impeccable and they even left artsy designs on our toilet paper!! It was like being on a cruise, with a balcony!!! Did I mention the pool was heated?? Oh and they have a cappuccino machine! Ft. Myers is back on it's feet!If you're looking for a peaceful, fun, relaxing getaway, this is the place. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful time.

We enjoyed our stay at this Best Western Plus resort. Front desk staff could have been more friendly. They seemed slightly stressed. Not sure why during the down season. Was expecting there to be a safe in our room but there was none. The good greatly out shines the small issues. Awesome parking, beautiful views, and easy beach access. I would definitely recommend and come back.

Sometimes the most magical trips are not planned. My sister And I booked a room at the Best Western Plus in Fort Myers at the last minute literally the day of and it was one of the most enjoyable trips I've had in a very long time. We started out only staying Monday to Thursday but then extended two different times and ended up not leaving until Saturday. The people there are so incredibly nice and accommodating. We started out in one room on the fourth floor but we noticed when we got up that morning to sit out on the balcony that the pool pump was making a lot of noise for that one particular room. Us being the type of people that literally pick a room because of the balcony view went down to see if there was anything that they could do and they immediately moved us to a room away from the pool motor and it was absolutely perfect. The included breakfast in the morning is just wonderful. If you want cereal they have that they also have waffles oatmeal yogurt eggs cooked two different ways usually one is always scrambled and then the other one might be either fried egg or a Western omelette then they rotate the meats sometimes it's bacon sometimes it's sausage links or sausage patties sometimes it is biscuits and sausage gravy they also have some muffins some bagels and my sister was thrilled to find that there was even gluten-free bagels which was a huge treat for her. You're also entertained anytime you're in the lobby during the daylight hours by their mascot Coco the Amazon parrot. He is adorable and will tell you hello over and over again. We got to see dolphins every day that we were there we also came across a live 9 point starfish on the beach which we took back out to the water and we also found a sand dollar that was not alive and just had a most excellent time. It's also very close to Sanibel which we went to every single day to hunt for shells. The rooms are all remodeled as of March 2025 and they are just perfect. You have almost a regular size fridge not one of those little dorm ones with a cooking top a sink cabinets that are stocked with dishes and utensils and cookware there's also a microwave and a Keurig coffee pot. I am so thrilled that we happen upon this Jewel and cannot wait to make it back there.

Absolutely unbelievable that a place like this still exists. Service with a smile and a team truly willing to help in every way. The property is maintained like a 5-star resort — spotless, beautifully landscaped, and welcoming. Recently renovated after the hurricane, and if they continue caring for it as we saw, this will remain a family paradise for years to come. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff taking care of the food were friendly and attentive, especially toward seniors who needed a little extra help — thoughtful without ever being overbearing. It was a bit darker along the road leading to the hotel and around the property itself, which at first felt unusual for a tourist area. We later learned it was due to turtle nesting season, when the entire area lowers lighting to protect the turtles. Most people vacationing there wouldn’t think of that — it hadn’t even crossed my mind — but once we found out, we were genuinely impressed. The lights return to normal (white) shortly after nesting season ends. It’s a really cool detail and something worth highlighting with a small sign at the front desk so future guests understand why things look that way at night. Highly recommended. One tip: call directly to book instead of using the online service — they go out of their way to answer questions and help you get exactly what you need.

Stayed at Best Western Fort Myers Beach. Staff is excellent. They accommodate every time you ask. Rooms are spotless. Nice laid back atmosphere. Love the all day coffee machine. Joy, Mike and Scott will take good care of you. All Gulf view, balcony and a great price.Will be back. Recommended.
